Meet the Founder: Rachel Dixon - Empowering Businesses through Creative Design

Hello! I'm Rachel Dixon, the founder and designer behind Two Five Eight Creative Studio, based in beautiful Aberdeen, Scotland. After spending an incredible ten years working as a designer for one of Scotland's largest media companies, I decided to take the plunge and start my own studio. My mission? To help businesses reach their full potential by creating effective branding, graphic design and captivating motion graphics. With a first-class honours degree in Visual Communication and ten years of experience under my belt, I bring a wealth of knowledge, expertise and unique creativity to every project.

In 2013, I graduated with first-class honours from Gray’s School of Art, was featured in Creative Review and received a YCN Student Award. Shortly after, my career as a designer began when I joined one of Scotland's largest media companies. Over the course of a decade, I poured my heart and soul into various projects, ranging from print media to digital platforms. In this role, I developed extensive technical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail that will stay with me for the rest of my career.

Fuelled by my childhood dream of becoming an entrepreneur and a desire to make creative work with impact, in May 2023, I made the bold decision to establish Two Five Eight Creative Studio. I firmly believe in the transformative power of design and wanted to provide businesses with the tools they needed to elevate their brand identities and effectively communicate their message to their target audience.

The name Two Five Eight represents my relentless pursuit of excellence. It symbolises my commitment to going beyond the ordinary, surpassing the 24 hours in a day and extending my creative reach by an extra day and an extra hour - 258. It expresses my dedication to delivering results and creating impactful experiences for my clients.

Through a meticulous approach that includes thorough research, innovation, out-of-the-box thinking and a deep understanding of each client's needs, I ensure that each project reflects the essence and values of the brand I'm working with. My path from studying to becoming an employed designer and eventually becoming the founder of Two Five Eight Creative Studio has been an exhilarating adventure.
